MARIUS
The story begins with Marius Raffin. He opened a butcher’s shop and delicatessen in 1897.
HENRI
And it was Henri, his son, who gave his name to the company in 1937. At that time, he had turned the company towards the wholesale business.

1978
ALFRED
After training with some of France’s best charcutiers, Henri’s son Alfred joined the family business, taking over in 1978 after his father’s death.
INNOVATION
Launch of the first no added fat saucisson in supermarkets, which became the company’s flagship product.

2018
EPV LABEL
Henri Raffin receives the EPV label (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant – Living Heritage Company). This is a mark of recognition from the French government and honours excellent craftsmanship and industrial expertise.
PME+ LABEL
The company is awarded the PME+ label, once again demonstrating the company’s strong commitment to quality.

Our products are made with French meat and natural ingredients. We are proud to perpetuate the expertise of previous generations and the family spirit of this company.
Our vocation is to ensure the development of the company, respecting our identity and doing everything possible to create and manufacture high quality products.
EPV: a Living Heritage Company
Henri Raffin was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label in 2018.
This is a mark of recognition from the French government and honours excellent craftsmanship and industrial expertise.

The PME+ label the company has recently been awarded is a social responsibility label for independent SMEs committed to helping people, jobs and the environment move forward.
Today, Henri Raffin’s PME+ label recognises the company’s strong local roots and responsible initiatives.
These include sustainable relationships with local farmers, creating jobs in France, high quality and natural products, reduced packaging and investment in the local community.
General Agricultural Competition
Henri Raffin products are entered in the annual General Agricultural Competition. Every year, this competition selects and recognises the best products from France’s terroir.
